TimÓX is an orange wine produced by macerating Timorasso grapes in small ceramic amphorae.
Tasting this wine allows one to fully appreciate the potential of the Timorasso grape when vinified under extreme conditions; the extended maceration—followed by a maturation period in a partially filled tank allowing for the development of a *flor* layer, and then partial aging in ceramic vessels—makes this a truly extreme wine. It is bottled unfiltered, resulting in slight cloudiness; shaking the bottle before serving is highly recommended.
