Organoleptic notes
Color: bright golden yellow with brilliant highlights;
Aroma: very intense and deep, a blend of ripe fruit—
especially citrus and tropical fruits—with strong
mineral notes and fresh hints of aromatic herbs,
typical of this region, which is unique in the world.
Palate: full-bodied and voluminous, with crisp underlying
acidity; its structure and texture lend it depth
and great aging potential, along with balance
and harmony among the various flavor components.
The finish is very long and persistent, featuring a pronounced
minerality typical of the coast and
an inexhaustible salivation that accentuates its
character and personality as a great white wine.
Pairings
A wine for the finest dishes of Ligurian cuisine,
both from land and sea. An excellent example of
a meditation wine. Optimal serving temperature
is 10 °C in very wide-bowled glasses.
