Made from Pecorello grapes, this wine reflects the unique character of the region’s deep, reddish-brown soils. The winemaking process involves hand-harvesting the grapes, followed by destemming, pressing, and fermentation in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks. The wine ages sur lie for four months, then matures further in stainless steel and in the bottle for at least two months. With an alcohol content between 12.5% and 13.5%, Akra Pecorello stands out for its intense aromas of wildflowers and delicate marine notes. On the palate, it is dry and crisp, with a savory finish that makes it particularly appetizing. Perfect with cured meats, fish, and white meats, it is an immediately enjoyable and versatile wine.
